I’ve been friends with Tobie since around 1988 when we were both living in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Tobie was an amazing BMX racer and I was the kind of skateboarder who loved to throw themselves off and over stuff.

Tobie recently met up with up with some OG legends in the South African BMX scene for a day of fun at the Eduplex pump track in Pretoria. I threw my soft wheels on my cruiser skateboard and joined them to go fast! I’ve always got my camera with so as the session was winding down we made some photos. All shot with my XPro3 and the following lenses: Fujinon 90mm f2, Fujinon 50mm f2 and 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 Fisheye.
