Wedding – Julia and Jaryd

Julia and Jaryd’s wedding was a spectacular day filled with laughter and emotion and broken crockery. It was hot and sunny with a brief rain shower in the afternoon just to freshen things up.

I started with the guys where Jaryd had YouTube’d himself the necessary skills to tie a proper bowtie and his sister stuck him in the bath for a true Polaroid moment. Then I was off to the ladies where the house buzzed with excitement and some traditional greek wedding music.

Julia’s dad is well known locally as a radio personality with a gregarious, outgoing nature and Aki’s excitement was palpable, his grin and energy infectious. First of all we were off to the Greek Orthodox Church in Germiston and then a non-denominational ceremony at the chapel at Casalinga.

From there it was cake cutting and canapés and portraits of the family and couple. The evening had us enjoying the speeches along with the superb food and service at Casalinga. After Julia and Jaryd’s first dance we launched into the party with greek dancing and the smashing of the plates.

Well, at this point you have an idea of what a jam packed day it was, now go look at the photos and take in the never-miss-a-moment beauty of true documentary wedding photography. #momentsnotmoutains #timmoolmanphoto #documentarywedding
